UCLA Volleyball to Compete in Spring Showcase with Top Programs

Bruins Set to Defend NCAA Title

The official athletics website for the UCLA Bruins is excited to announce that the men's volleyball team will be competing in the Spring Showcase, scheduled for March 31st to April 1st. The Bruins are set to defend their 2023 NCAA title against some of the top programs in the nation. Among the teams participating in the showcase are BYU, Pepperdine, and Stanford.

UCLA enters the Spring Showcase with a strong record, having gone 21-8 overall and 17-3 in the MPSF during the regular season. The Bruins also hold advantages in on-base percentage (383-366) and walks drawn (125-103) over their opponents.

Individual players to watch for UCLA include senior outside hitter JT Hatch, who leads the team with 27 service aces, and sophomore outside hitter Cole Kettering, who has recorded 204 kills. The Bruins will also rely on the leadership of senior setter Matt Young, who has been a key contributor for the team throughout his career.
